Information you'll need to provide to apply for this grant

You'll be asked for the following information when applying for this grant.

Most of these questions are the same as what you're asked for in our annual Census. Providing the same information allows us to track progress against targets.


Relevant approvals as per POR

As a:

  1. Scout Troop, you’ll provide email approval from your Group Chair and District Commissioner to apply for this grant (POR 5.5.10.2.c)
  2. Explorer Unit, you’ll provide email approval from your District Chair and County Commissioner to apply for this grant (POR 5.5.10.2.d)

Where one of the roles named above is vacant, approval should be sought from the relevant acting volunteer as per POR 16.6

You can use the following text to email to the relevant Chair and Commissioner. They need to respond with their agreement. You can then forward the email trail to your contact at Scouts.

SECTION NAME has been invited by Scouts to apply for a grant from the Uniformed Youth Fund Waiting Lists grant scheme. POR requires you to approve this application. Please confirm that you approve our application by replying to this email.

 

Bank details

Provide a bank statement dated within the past three months that shows the bank name, account name, sort code, and account number of the Scouting bank account that will receive the funds.
