Time on the Water Staged Activity Badge
You can collect Time on Water staged badges when you take part in certain water activities.
Meet the requirements relevant to your section.
Complete 10 sessions on the water to earn this badge:
Squirrels
Each session should last at least 30 minutes.
Beavers
Each session should last about 1 hour.
Cubs
Each session should last around 1 to 2 hours.
Scouts and Explorers
Each session should last around 2 to 3 hours.
Tips
- Water activities you've taken part in for previous stages of the badge can be counted towards your total as you move through the sections.

- Kayaking
- Canoeing
- Stand-up paddle boarding
- Sailing
- Windsurfing
- Powerboating
- Kiteboarding
- Surfing
- Yachting
- Motorcruising

- Traditional rafting
- Paddle boarding
- Water-skiing
