Paul Dickson

Paul has been involved in Scouting since he was a Cub, he has had many roles within Scouting, most recently as a County Commissioner, a Board Trustee and a member of the Strategy & Delivery team for Northern Ireland.

Paul spent the first 12 years of his career working in the government in accounting, then working in policing and becoming a law graduate upon retiral. Paul has also spent time in Kenya working with children in care and within the care sector in Northern Ireland.

Paul is used to working in ever-changing and stressful environments, working within strict guidelines and accountability practices. 

Though retired, Paul has an active life with family and friends, and enjoys spending time outdoors.

Despite a busy time volunteering in Scouting, Paul has also been a church youth leader and now spends time at his church working in a drop-in centre assisting the local community, asylum seekers and refugees.
