Joseph Fletcher

Joseph Fletcher

Joe has been in Scouts since the age of 8 after joining as a Cub. He has since achieved his Young Leader Belt and Queen’s Scout Award. He has been a Cub and Explorer Leader, Youth Commissioner and is currently Chair in North Leeds. Before joining the Board, Joe sat on the Scouts Safety Committee as an Independent Youth Member.

Throughout his time in Scouts, he has been passionate about ensuring the voices of young people are not only listened to, but that they are present at the tables where decisions are being made that affect them. His most impactful Scouting memories include the Lying-in-State of Her Late Majesty the Queen and seeing Scouts from around the globe come together at the past two World Scout Jamborees.

Outside of Scouts, Joe studied air transport management at university and, in his spare time, enjoys spending time with his friends, watching musicals and being active outdoors by hiking, climbing, or cycling.
