A key supporter of our Skills for Life strategy
The Scouts are extremely grateful for the support of Youth United Foundation and DCMS, through the Uniformed Youth Fund.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve worked with Youth United Foundation on a number of projects, including Stronger Foundations – a project which enabled us to scale up our work to create a digital planning tool for volunteers, initially focussed on the Cub Section but rapidly advancing to cover Beaver section resources, too.
About Youth United Foundation
Youth United Foundation’s purpose is simple: to ensure that every young person, regardless of background or location, has the opportunity to become a member of a uniformed youth group.
Uniformed youth organisations offer young people a huge range of skills and experiences, laying the building blocks for young people to overcome a number of barriers to be the best they can be.
