Ayesha Karim

In her role as UK Youth Lead, Ayesha is responsible for representing the voices of young people in the movement, and making sure they have the opportunity to shape our plans as an organisation at all levels. She also supports Youth Leads across the country.

A member of Scouts for the past 13 years, Ayesha joined her local Beaver colony at the age of six and now volunteers regularly with her Scout Troop and with the Muslim Scout Fellowship. She's passionate about ensuring that young people from all backgrounds have access to the fantastic opportunities that Scouts offers.

In her personal life, she is studying engineering at university and is an active member of her local Engineers Without Borders chapter, focusing on using engineering for humanitarian and sustainable development.
