Squirrel Squad Sessions

Come celebrate National Storytelling week with Bookmark. They'll share some good advice and ideas for Storytelling with your Squirrels.

Looking for some inspiration when planning your programme? Join this session with Jaimee (Programme Officer). He will share some tips and tricks for short, medium, and long term planning, followed by a brainstorm with other Squirrel Leaders.

January 2023 POR changes indicate that Squirrels are now allowed to do Nights Away. In this session we will unpack these changes, and share insight from the data collected during our pilots. We will also welcome a Squirrel leader who took part in the pilot who will share her experience. Squirrels Nights Away is purely optional and not a minimum requirement like with other sections. It is purely your decision locally whether you choose to do a Nights Away for Squirrels. You know your young people and their capabilities. 

There’s more to community impact than picking up litter and raising money. Little people can make big change.
