Decision-making
As the Network is run for the members by the members, everyone should get a chance to be part of the decision-making process. Some members may not be able to fully commit to Scout Network, especially at busy times of their life, and this should be respected.
Local Network meeting or committee
A regular meeting means your Network gets the chance to work together, get organised and run the programme effectively. Arrangements need to be flexible, and should be reviewed regularly.
Members can consist of everyone in the District Scout Network, those who are elected by the members or simply those who want to take part. These meetings could also be supported the Programme Coordinators.
For example, a District Scout Network could choose to have a meeting of all members of the Network every two months, with the project teams meeting biweekly in between, or at times that are convenient to those involved. Meetings could also take place online if geography or timings are an issue for some.
