Congratulations! You've got a place in the pod.
Our ballot has been drawn and we're excited that you've been selected to join the UK Contingent. We're going to have a great time diving into Portugal together.
In order to secure your place as part of the pod, you need to follow the steps below so that you can accept your place.
You need to follow the link that was in your outcome email to tell us that you wish to accept your place. You need to do this by 10 June 2024 at 11:59pm. The link will take you to EventsAir where you will complete some details and agree to our terms and conditions.
You will receive an email on or shortly after 10 June 2024 where you will then be asked to complete your registration by paying your deposit. You will need to do this by 30 June 2024 at 11:59pm. If you don't complete this by this date then we will offer your place to another Scout.

If you were offered a grant, the amount you will be required to pay is included on your outcome email.

We will be hosting our first 'Moot Monday' webinar on 8 July 2024 at 7:30pm. More information and joining instructions will be sent out to those people who confirm their place so pop the date in your diary for now.
How much will I now need to pay?
Everyone who attends the Moot will need to pay the 'core fee'. You can find out below what it does and doesn't include. It's important you know what is included before accepting your place. The 'core fee' for a participant is £1,525 and for an IST member it is £1,365. The UK Contingent will be collecting payments in instalments to help you spread how much you need to pay at a time. The payment plan can be found below.
If you have been offered a grant, this would have been deducted from your deposit amount in the first instance. You can find further information about this in your outcome email.

We know that fundraising will play a bit part in the #MootUK journey. We have put together a fundraising page which contains lots of useful tips about how to do this.
We also know that you will want to connect with the rest of the pod but we ask you not to make any social media groups. We have exciting plans of how to bring our pod together which we shall share with you soon.
We can't wait to make a splash with you in Portugal in 2025!
