Islamophobia Awareness Month (November)
The theme for this year's Islamophobia Awareness Month is ‘Seeds of change’ and is about how small actions can lead to big changes.

Day of the Dead (1 - 2 Nov)
Day of the Dead is a lively and colourful festival, which celebrates life. It's celebrated in Latin American communities across the world and particularly in Mexico.

Bonfire Night (5 Nov)
In the UK, Bonfire Night, also known as Guy Fawkes Night, is the anniversary of a failed attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605.

British Pudding Day (9 Nov)

UN Climate Change Conference – COP 29 (11 – 22 Nov)
The largest annual gathering on climate change. This year's event, known as COP 29, will be held in Azerbaijan.

Armistice Day (11 Nov)
The 11 November is Armistice Day. It’s also known as Remembrance Day. Remembrance honours people who serve to defend our democratic freedoms and way of life. You can show your support with the poppy range from Scouts Store.

Origami Day (11 Nov)
Origami Day is an opportunity to celebrate the ancient Japanese art of paper folding. What can you create with a piece of paper?
Activities to try:
- Make origami bookmarks
- Use folded paper tiles to play a game of Ddakji.
- Create origami Scout uniforms
- Create a feel good chatterbox
Odd Socks Day (12 Nov)
Odd Socks Day is part of Anti-Bullying Week. It's all about encouraging people to wear odd socks to celebrate how we're all unique.

Trans Awareness Week (13 - 19 Nov)
Celebrate trans people and learn about LGBTQ+ history during Trans Awareness Week, and take a look at our trans flag badges on Scouts Store.

UK Disability History Month (14 Nov – 20 Dec)
This month is a great way to learn about disabled people now, and in the past, to create a more equitable way forward for all.

Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week (18 – 24 Nov)
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a colourless, tasteless, odourless, yet poisonous gas that can make you seriously ill if you breathe it in.

World Hello Day is about promoting peace and understanding through communication.

National Tree Week (23 Nov - 1 Dec)
The UK's biggest annual tree celebration, National Tree Week, marking the start of the winter tree planting season.

St Andrew's Day (30 Nov)
Celebrating the patron saint of Scotland, St Andrew, this has been a popular festival for over a thousand years. You can mark the occasion with a blanket badge from Scouts Store.
