Pride Month (June)

June is a month to celebrate and support the LGBT+ community. As Scouts, we want to make sure everyone feels safe and included. Take a look at how you can join in a Pride event

Child Safety Week (3 - 10 June)

Child Safety Week is an annual campaign run by the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) to raise awareness of the risks of child accidents and how they can be prevented.

World Bicycle Day (3 June)

Get on your bikes and ride on World Bicycle Day. Celebrate the benefits of this fun and eco-friendly mode of transport.

World Environment Day is the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment.

Olympics-themed Fundays at Scout Adventures Gilwell Park. A day of activities for Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs, based on sport, international and friendship.

Learn about Hajj, a sacred pilgrimage that Muslims make to the holy city of Mecca (Makkah).

Eid al-Adha (16 - 19 June)

Eid al-Adha (the festival of sacrifice) is one of two Eids celebrated by Muslims. It's a special time for prayer, sharing food and giving to others. It also marks the end of Hajj.

Build empathy and understanding of people who've been forced to flee their home country, often to escape conflict or persecution.
