Our pillars of work
We have a plan of action to increase volunteer support and extend our reach to more young people. This plan of action includes three pillars of work; programme, people and perception.
We can’t start all 17 initiatives at once. Our priority for year one will be on what our volunteers and young people have asked for; developing amazing sections leaders with practical skills to deliver an inspiring programme.
A fun, enjoyable, high quality programme consistently delivered and supported by simple (digital) tools.
More, well trained, better supported and motivated adult volunteers and young people, from diverse backgrounds.
Scouting is clearly understood, more visible, trusted, respected and widely seen as playing a key role in today’s society.
