Scout Experience Survey Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

This prize draw is being run by The Scout Association a company incorporated by Royal Charter under registration no RC000547 and charity registered in England and Wales under registration no 306101 with its registered office at Gilwell Park, Chingford, London, E4 7QW (The Scout Association) in collaboration with Scout Shops Limited (company registration number 1101498) with its registered office at 75 Marlborough Road, Lancing Business Park, Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 8UG (Scout Store).

Entry to the prize draw

Entry is free and is open to all Scout Members who complete the Scout Experience Survey giving permission for their details to be entered into the draw. This must be done before the survey closes at midnight on Tuesday 18 June 2024.

Only one entry is permitted per individual. 

20 winners will be chosen at random from all the entries from each of the following categories, 10 from each of the below groups:

  • Young people aged 13-17.
  • Adult volunteers.

Winners will receive the prize of a £50 Amazon voucher.

All entrants will also receive a discount code for a 20% discount on purchases made at Scout Store, excluding programme badges and awards, and lines that are in a sale or discounted already. The discount code cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount codes. The discount code is only valid for logged-in users.

The discount code will only be valid for one transaction.

The discount code remains valid for use until Tuesday 31 December 2024.

Winners will be notified by email (to the email address provided in the survey) after Monday 1 July 2024. If the winner does not respond to The Scout Association within 21 days, or the winner declines the prize, The Scout Association reserves the right to select a substitute winner by random selection.

Entrants under the age of 16 must provide the email address of a parent or guardian. If the prize winner is under 16 and has not provided the email address of a parent or guardian during the survey, The Scouts will ask them to provide a parental email address in order for them to claim the prize.

Entrants shall be responsible for ensuring that the email address they provide are up-to-date and accurate.  

Prizes are not transferable, non-refundable and no cash equivalent will be provided.

The Scout Association reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equivalent value or cancel the draw at any time at the Scout Association’s discretion.

The Scout Association's decision is final, and The Scout Association will not enter into any correspondence regarding the same.

Entry into the draw will be deemed to constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.
