UK Lead for Safe Scouting

Ian is the UK Lead for safe Scouting.

Ian was a Cub, Scout, and Venture Scout and then rejoined Scouts as a Cub Scout Leader in 2005. Since then, Ian has held a variety of roles including District, County, and Regional Lead Volunteer, and most recently as UK People Delivery Team Leader.

Ian is passionate about the difference Scouts make to young lives, volunteers, and communities. In his role as UK Lead for Safe Scouting Ian works to ensure that Scouts are offering amazing programme, exciting adventure, and Skills for Life in the safest possible environment.
Ian is retired from a career working in the food industry supply chain with Nestlé.
In addition to his UK role Ian continues to support local Scouting and is a Trustee of his local Foodbank.
