Busola credits being in a youth movement as a child with giving her the skills, mentorship, and confidence to succeed as an ethnic minority woman in a male-dominated finance sector.
Her Financial Services career spanned 15+ years, where she worked across Retail and Wholesale Banking, Investment Banking, and Asset and Custody Management institutions. As a CFO for Global Markets business for EMEA at State Street Bank, she saw the power of technology as a way to drive growth. She is now focused on Social Entrepreneurship, and is active in the digital space, developing tech products for young people.
Busola is a Church Commissioner for England, and sits on its Audit and Risk Committee. She also serves as a Trustee for a Church of England Parish, a small charity focused on Homelessness and supports women-led ventures.
Busola truly believes in increasing accessibility and diversity across the movement. She describes herself as an active, hands-on leader, who constantly seeks to grow her knowledge and experience.
