Local Growth Officer – East Lancashire

We're looking for a Local Growth Officer to join our Growth & Communities Team.

Responsible to: Local Growth Operations Manager –  North West

Department: Volunteering Operations Department 

Base Location:  Home Based Within East Lancashire

Term:  Fixed-Term Contract for 1 year

Salary: £31,716 per annum, Band E, Level 3

Hours: 35 hours per week (including some evening and weekends)

Line Management Responsibility: N/A

A bit about the role 

As a Local Growth Officer, you will be instrumental in supporting East Lancashire’s growth ambitions, focusing on opening new sections and expanding Scouting into more communities. You’ll work with the national Growth and Communities Team, contributing to the wider inclusive growth strategy for East Lancashire – a region thriving with positive investment, development, and plenty of opportunity for success.

The local County team is enthusiastic, supportive, and offers strong governance, making it an exciting environment to work in. Your role will involve collaborating with local volunteers, forming strong partnerships, and supporting the wider work of the Growth & Communities Team, Volunteering Operations Department, and the Strategy & Transformation Directorates.
