Responsible to: Local Growth Operations Manager – South East
Department: Volunteering Operations Department
Base Location: Home Based Within Buckinghamshire
Term: Fixed-Term Contract for 2 years
Salary: £31,716 per annum, Band E, Level 3 + Mileage
Hours: 35 hours per week (including some evening and weekends)
Line Management Responsibility: N/A
A bit about the role
As a Local Growth Officer you will be pro-actively helping the County and its Districts to achieve their growth ambitions focusing specifically on opening new sections by collaborating with local volunteers and our wider Growth & Communities team.
You'll be working as part of the national Growth and Communities Team with focus on growth for Buckinghamshire Scout County. An area with positive investment, growth and plenty of opportunity for success. The local County team are enthusiastic and supportive and have strong governance support.
You will form productive partnerships with our local key volunteers and help support the wider work of the Growth & Communities Team, Volunteering Operations Department, and Operations and Strategy & Transformation Directorates at Scouts.
