Building Surveyor (Ref 13/009)
To undertake a planned programme of building, plant and equipment condition surveys across the Association’s properties, infrastructure and grounds. Produce clear, concise and detailed reports identifying areas requiring improvement and any necessary remedial actions in conjunction with the Head of Estate Services.
Manage of a number of capital and major maintenance projects across the National Centres valued between £10k and £100k.
Provide practical maintenance support to Operational Managers and other duties as required.

Guest Services Co-ordinator (Ref 13/008)
Responsible for the guest experience of all visitors, from the first point of contact to the time they depart, including after-care to encourage strong relationships and high repeat-booking rate. You will work with the sales team to co-ordinate bookings for weddings, conferences, corporate activity days, scout camps, school residential trips and large events. You will also contribute to the sales budget and profitability targets. Sales will be generated via inbound enquiries and targeted outbound sales calls. Ensuring existing accounts are maintained effectively and in a professional manner, is key to encouraging repeat and referral business. Having a sound knowledge of Gilwell Park you will promote our services and facilities at every opportunity.

Internal Communications Executive (Ref: 13/007)
With over 500,000 members in the UK, and recently voted the UK’s most inspiring charity, you can be sure that your work at The Scout Association will be varied and fast-paced. A key member of a small, dedicated internal communications team you’ll create content, manage sections of the website and co-ordinate audience research. You’ll also work on our membership publications and emails, and assist with creating communication tools for volunteers to use with parents.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the sales team at Baden-Powell Conference Centre, South Kensington. Supporting the Centre Manager, you will work to reach and exceed sales and budget targets set for Baden-Powell House Conference Centre. You will achieve a significant increase in sales enquires leading to new bookings by establishing key supplier relationships with booking agencies, event management companies and training providers, and by developing effective relationships within the local business community.
