HR Projects/Learning and Development Officer (Ref: 15/023)

The post holder is responsible for supporting the Head of People in the delivery of a wide range of key HR Projects across the Association. Working closely with the Head of People to co-ordinate, plan and manage projects that may involve external consultants e.g. job evaluation, Investors in People, staff welfare, and learning and development, as well as supporting the Head of People on other key projects. The post holder must be highly organised, efficient and adaptable.

HR Information Systems Officer (Ref 15/22)

The HRIS Officer will be responsible for managing the HRIS, ensuring that the system is fit for purpose and delivers what is needed for the organisation, that it is implemented correctly and that it is functional to the users. The HRIS Officer will ensure that staff are trained in the use of the system so that we can maximise its functionality this will enable us to streamline processes and procedures in HR and produce accurate management information. The HRIS is expected to be in the “in house” expert on the system but will work closely with the HR team and business systems.

Human Resources Officer (Ref: 15/021)

A pragmatic and reliable HR practitioner, able to make the right decisions on day to day Employee Relations issues, particularly; Absence Management including Occupational Health, Maternity and Paternity, Policy Development, Fixed Term and Casual contracted staff, Leavers and Exit Interviews. Knowing when issues are serious enough to be raised with line management.

Facilities Assistant (Ref: 15/014)

The Facilities Coordinator will support the operations of both the Activity Centre & Training & event centre ensuring that the facilities that our guest use are always ready for occupation and are always prepared to the very highest standards. The facilities coordinator will manage a number of international volunteers ensuring that both operations remain compliant and fit for purpose.

Corporate Partnership Executive (Account Management) (Ref: 15/025)

This is an exciting time for the Scouts Fundraising Department with all areas of our income, including our corporate partnerships, growing at an unprecedented rate. As a result the department is expanding and we are looking for an experienced Corporate Partnership Professional with a strong track record of successfully delivering national corporate partnerships to join the team.

Events Coordinator (Ref: 15/024)

Working closely with the Deputy Head of Scout Activity Centres, Event and Operational Managers across centres, you will coordinate and directly support the implementation of National Scout Activity Centre events. This will involve; taking responsibility for event administration, providing practical support to volunteer and staff teams, leading the marketing of events to ensure past bookers and prospects are communicated to in a timely and appropriate manner and aiming to meet and exceed guest care targets.

To be the key point of contact for all activity bookings to the centre.  Taking responsibility for the customer experience from initial enquiry to pre arrival, and resuming contact post-visit to promote clients-for-life.

Conference and Training Co-ordinator - (Ref: 15/012)

The Conference and Training Coordinator will co-ordinate bookings specifically for the Training and Events Centre but will have knowledge of the activity centre, weddings and large Scouting events.
