John Lyon Foundation

Providing support in West London

Focussed on growth work in the London boroughs of Barnet and Harrow, funding from the John Lyons Foundation has helped over 250 more young people to join Scouts. It’s also helped us to develop partnerships with local youth organisations to promote venue sharing, as well as campaigning the local council in relation to youth policy.

About John Lyons Foundation

John Lyon’s Charity gives grants to benefit children and young people up to the age of 25 who live in nine boroughs in North and West London. The Charity’s mission is to promote the life-chances of children and young people through education.

Since 1991, the Charity has distributed over £100 million to a range of services for young people, including youth clubs, arts projects, counselling initiatives, childcare and parental support schemes, sports programmes and academic bursaries.
