Time to show everyone just how amazing we are at camping by pitching our tents at one of this year's music festivals. Festival season is nearly upon us and if you’re wondering where to flash your festival cash now that Glastonbury has sold out, take a look at this guide to a selection of the UK’s best festivals in 2015.

Leeds Festival

Typical festival goer: Music fans who enjoy rock music, pop music, moshing and who don't mind the odd plastic cup of pee thrown over the crowd.

Headliners: The Libertines, Mumford & Sons, Metallica, Jamie T, Bastille, Royal Blood

Where is it? Leeds

When is it? 28-30 August


Party in The Valley

Typical festival goer: Someone who appreciates a lovely view of the mountains with their local musical selection.

Headliners: Pete Lashley, Annemarie Quinn, Movin On, Stuart Miller

Where is it? Cumbria, The Lake District

When is it? 25 September


Standon Calling

Typical festival goer: Those always in search of fresh new talent, eco friendly catering and a heated swimming pool. (Yes you read that correctly)

Headliners: Little Dragon, The Dandy Warhols, Basement Jaxx, Roots Manuva

Where is it? Standon, Hertfordshire

When is it? 31 July



Typical festival goer: All you darlings looking for a boutique festival in a leafy country park. Expect eclectic music and fancy dress.

Headliners: The Chemical Brothers, Duran Duran, Tame Impala, Underworld, Jungle

Where is it? Isle of Wight

When is it? 10- 13 September


British Summer Time

Typical festival goer: For music fans hoping to avoid the muddy bogs and lack of washing facilities, this festival is a bit more upmarket. There's a lot of pop, theatre, comedy and even a VIP area.

Headliners: Taylor Swift, Blur, The Who, Kylie Minogue

Where is it? Hyde Park, London

When is it? 20- 27  June


Field Day

Typical festival goer: Individuals who are hot on the heels of new acts and keen to enjoy a mix of new indie acts, folk singers, quirky pop acts and dance.

Headliners: FKA Twigs, Patti Smith, Caribou, Ride

Where is it? Victoria Park, London

When is it? 6- 7 June


T in the Park

Typical festival goer: Scotlands biggest outdoor festival is a good choice for anyone, there's rock, pop dance, a fairground, fancy dress. A good all-rounder.

Headliners: Kasabian, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, The Prodigy, Avicii, Sam Smith, David Guetta

Where is it? Kinross, Scotland

When is it? 10 - 12 July
