Gilwell Park Heritage Open Day
Gilwell Park is celebrating 100 years since the first Scouts arrived on site and transformed a neglected country estate into a Scouting wonderland. Join a guided tour or test your survival skills with our shelter building and backwoods cooking family workshops.
What? Heritage Open Day
When? Sunday 22 September 2019, 10am – 4pm,
Where? Gilwell Park, Bury Road, Chingford, E4 7QW
Includes: Free activities and guided tours
Tours: 10:30am and 2pm
Shelter building: 11am and 1pm
Backwoods cooking: 11am and 1pm. Activities are suitable for families with children aged 6 and older, adults must accompany children at all times.
Booking: Please book in advance
Parking: Parking is available on Centre. Please use the Branchet car park.
Refreshments: Light refreshments will be available in our Adventure Café.
