Regional Training Manager- North West
We're currently recruiting for the Regional Training Manager in the North West England to support the Adult Training Scheme.
The Regional Training Manager (RTM) will support the County Training Managers (CTM) in the Region. They will support new CTMs by providing the training management element of their induction and support current CTMs by maintaining regular contact with them and ensuring the County training provision is meeting the needs of learners by providing advice and solutions. The RTM will encourage networking and collaboration between the Region’s CTMs, actively contributing to Regional County Training Manager meetings.
Managed by the Training Support Manager (England), and supported by the Regional Commissioner, the RTM will maintain regular contact with the Regional Commissioner and the Region’s County Commissioners to provide training advice and updates of the training provision in their area of responsibility. This will include identifying and ensuring training priorities meet the needs of the Region and the Counties’ strategic plans. Keeping up to date about training developments and sharing good practice with other Regions across England will also be key.
We're looking for candidates who have strong training management experience either professionally or in a voluntary capacity, but ideally with knowledge of a volunteer operated Adult Training Scheme. The candidates preferably should be located within the Region they will support or within easy travelling distance. For more information check out the vacancy pack.
