Chief Commissioner of Wales

Could you be the next Chief Commissioner of Wales?

With the current Chief Commissioner, Gareth Watson, coming to the end of his term in January 2019, we are now looking for a suitable successor.

The successful candidate will be excellent communicator, with the ability to form strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders. You will also have an empathy and understanding of leading and motivating volunteers.

The Chief Commissioner is responsible for the volunteer team across Wales and implementing the new strategy of the ScoutsCymru Board and UK Scouting. This is a crucial time for Scouting in Wales as we seek to build on the positive changes implemented over the past five years and power our work to deliver even more opportunities for young people across Wales.
