Ashley Russell

Ashley has been a member of Scouting for over 12 years, as a Beaver Scout, Scout, Explorer Scout, Network Member, Section Leader and a local manager. He is currently Group Scout Leader of 51st Bath Scout Group, which he has proudly grown from one section to all three sections whilst its manager. He says that, most of all, he enjoys seeing young people achieve things they never first thought possible – whether that be climbing a climbing wall, or spending the first night away from home on a Beaver Sleepover.
Professionally, Ashley works for the retailer Sainsbury’s. As a member of his store’s leadership team, he is responsible for leading the various teams of the store’s Groceries Online department. He previously studied Computer Science at the University of Bath.
