Growth and Development Officer-Buckinghamshire
Overview of the role
The purpose of the role is to support, instigate and deliver the recruitment of volunteer line managers across the County. To deliver volunteer recruitment and development workshops to Scouting volunteers and support recruited line managers with their inductions. To deliver on the project objectives and targets, working in partnership with County and District Commissioners, Project Working Group and Senior Growth and Development Officer to realise agreed sustainable targets.
To ensure that monitoring and progress reports are provided to the Project Working Group.
Because of the nature of the project frequent hands on/direct support on events including evening working will be a key feature of the role.
