What to expect when you become a Scout Network member
As soon as you turn 18 you can become a Scout Network member. Here’s the low-down of what you can expect...
OK, first things first, it’s simple, so no fuss filling in your details!
You’ll be invited to loads of events like hiking expeditions and bonfires.
Get your bags packed- you could even go on a three-week trek expedition in Canada…
…or join a team of six going on an Explorer Belt expedition to Peru this July.
There are already Network members attending the Asia Pacific Jamboree in Mongolia-so many adventures to be had!!
…or change lives by leading an A Million Hands community project…
…which will make your CV look even better than it does now!
You’ll meet people from all over the UK and possibly all over the world depending on what projects you get involved in.
Yes, you can still volunteer and be a leader- you just get Scout Network perks too.
But there’s no pressure to do anything, you’ll have the freedom of choice.
Oh and it’s free. So no Scouting fees- meaning more spends for that trip to Canada!
