Host a 'not-your-bog-standard' comedy quiz for World Toilet Day

Host A Quiz Night For World Toilet Day

Support World Toilet Day this year with your District Scout Network by running a comedy quiz.

World Toilet Day will be taking place on 19 November. Founded by the UN in 2001, the day aims to lift the lid on a taboo subject by talking about toilets and their link to the world’s sanitation crisis. Talking about toilets may make you giggle, but it’s no joke. There are 2.3 billion people in the world who do not have access to a safe, clean place to go to the loo. With WaterAid’s help, you can begin to tackle this problem by raising awareness about the issue in your community.

Relieve yourself of the embarrassment that comes with talking about loos by hosting Water Aid’s ‘not-your-bog-standard’ comedy quiz as an event for your District Scout Network.

On the day, you can bring World Toilet Day to the attention of others on social media by joining the Thunderclap

You can take further action by signing up to do an A Million Hands project about clean water and sanitation with your District Scout Network.

If you decided to have some fun and host a hilarious quiz, remember to boast about it on the Scout Network website.
