Win tickets to The Making of Harry Potter

News

The Scout Association has been given a limited allocation of tickets to come as guests on Friday 26 April 2013 to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter at Leavesden, near Watford.

The Tour is home to the iconic sets, authentic props and original costumes from the eight Harry Potter films, which were shot at the studios next door. Visitors will get the opportunity to walk in to the real Great Hall, stroll along Dragon Alley and even ride on a broom stick. On that day, there will also be young people and leaders present from a number of other charities.

Those eligible for tickets

Adult leaders with a full and current appointment may apply for tickets. Entries will be placed in a draw. Winners will need to attend as part of a group of only five, consisting of two adult leaders, each with a full and current appointment, and three young people of Cub Scout and/or Scout age (unfortunately, young people of Beaver Scout, Explorer Scout and Scout Network age cannot attend as part of this competition).

For the Cubs and/or Scouts, this could be offered to recognise special effort or achievement in the Pack/Troop or in the wider community. Consideration will also need to be given to the fact that this offer is for a day during school term-time for many young people.

You will need to be available to attend the studios on the morning of Friday 26 April 2013 (exact timings to be confirmed) and any transport and accommodation will need to be organised and paid for by the winners.

Enter the draw

Please enter the draw by leaving your details on the online form. The deadline for applications is 9am on Thursday 28 February 2013. Winners will be selected at random and must be available to take calls between 9am and 5pm on Thursday 28 February 2013. If we are unable to contact you another winner may be randomly selected in your place.

Good luck!
