Scout Grants Committee Chair

The role of the Scout Grants Committee Chair* is rewarding opportunity to develop yourself. You will have the chance to lead a team of enthusiastic and committed volunteers in local projects aimed at inspiring and helping Regions, Counties/Area/Regions, Districts and Groups grow and deliver exciting and adventurous activities to even more young people.

Working as a member of the Headquarters Volunteering team you will help translate Scouting’s 2018 Vision into reality and help take Scouting to the next level.

As Scout Grants Committee Chair you will be responsible for the administration of the various grant programmes managed by the Scout Grants Committee in partnership with national & local volunteers and the Growth and Development Funding Manager, who is a full time employee of the Scout Association.

So, irrespective of your age, background or Scouting experience, if you think you have what it takes to manage funding programmes to expand the Scouting adventure to more young people, or know somebody who does, please do get in touch.
