The Scout Association’s Fundraising Advisory Group is seeking one or two fundraising specialists to join the group. The role is pro bono but reasonable expenses will be paid in accordance with the Association’s Expenses Policy.
The Fundraising Advisory Group supports The Scout Association in maximising revenue to fund its work. Its role is pivotal to the growth and success of the charity and will be instrumental in the growth and development of income opportunities and delivery of the Fundraising Strategy.
The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive fundraising experience and a strong track-record in developing and managing traditional and new and emerging streams, on a significant scale. This will have ideally been gained within a major UK-charity. You must also have excellent communications skills with the ability to influence others and be able to draw on a wide range of experience to ensure the Association’s fundraising arrangements are appropriate and follow best practice, within financial law and guidelines set out in current legislation.
