Without volunteers; Scout Adventure’s wouldn’t be able to deliver the volume of life changing adventurous experiences that it does each year. We’re looking for someone to take the lead and push our volunteer programme to the next level; ensuring that we’re not just known across the world but are seen as the market leader. From marketing to recruitment, we’re looking for someone to identify, search for, select and recruit volunteers from across the world to take part in a life changing experience with Scout Adventures. This is no insignificant role. Working as part of the Scout Adventures Central team, the Volunteer Programme Manager has a wide reaching impact; from ensuring our recruitment and selection processes are tip top to high level strategic thinking about how we develop our programme in the future. It’s an exciting time for Scout Adventures; we’re delivering more adventures than ever before, growing our network as well as continuing to re-define who we are and what we’re here to do.
Make no mistake; we’re looking for someone amazing. You’ll be a talented leader with an ability to engage with people at all levels of our organisation and national organisations overseas. You’ll have a sound knowledge of what good recruitment/selection process looks like and have experience of working with volunteers. As part of the small Scout Adventures Central team; you’ll be a key part of shaping our current ways of working as well as steering us in the right direction for the future. It’s vital that you’re confident to work independently and are a self-starter. Our network of Adventure Locations are spread right across the UK; meaning that travel and nights away from home will be a feature of this role.
