Summary of Job

You will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the work of the Safeguarding Support Officers and Safeguarding Communications Officer in conjunction with the needs of the safeguarding team.

A key part of the role will involve liaising with appropriate staff, volunteers and statutory agencies (with guidance from the Safeguarding Officers as appropriate) to support the delivery of the Safeguarding team’s work. The role involves a significant amount of organisation and planning, with support provided to the National Operations Manager and Head of Safeguarding, including the preparation and collation of reports and papers, and taking responsibility for the appeals process.
