Growth & Development Officer (Berkshire & Hampshire)

You will be a highly driven and enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work with volunteers and hard to reach communities. You will be committed to the strategy of The Scout Association and buy into the organisations values. By creating new and sustainable chances for young people to join the movement you will increase their opportunities to develop skills for life. You will be able to carry out your own administration and be conversant with a suite of IT products. You have a people-centred approach to your work with excellent written and oral communication skills.

With a full driving licence and comfortable with extensive travel across Berkshire and Hampshire and regular evening and weekend work. You will be based in a geographical location that will enable effective liaison with staff and volunteers in the relevant Regions.

Tenure: 12 month fixed term contract 

Salary: £27,500 (band E level 3)

Hours: 35 hours/week

Location: Homebased (Berkshire & Hampshire)

Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per year plus bank holidays. This increases after two years service to 28 days and after five years to 32 days. 

Additional Holidays: 3 days of extra hoildays between Christmas and new year.
